host is that you do not need to get the name servers changed
over as the host will have already set them up for you, but
if you wish to use another host they should change them over
for you.

What domain name type should you choose?
When choosing a domain
name you should first think of the target market you are
trying to target. I.e.
If you are just aiming your web site at the UK market a domain
name ending in .uk may be more apropreate then a dot com
domain. If they are available it is advisable to register
both dot com and dot uk domains to protect your brand.
